A valid National photo ID (such as passport, driver’s licence, national military service card, etc.) is required.  Student Cards are not accepted as valid ID.

The Check-in start time is at 14:00. Book a Bed Hostels is open until midnight, 7 days week. If you would like to check-in after midnight you will need to request this by contacting us. Check-out time is by 11:00. Late check-outs will incur a charge of an additional night. Early arrivals can use our luggage room and safety deposit boxes to leave personal effects prior to check-in. Book a Bed Hostels accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to property however sustained or caused.

For online bookings: click the “Book Now”, select your dates and room type and follow the payment instructions. You’ll then receive an email confirmation with your booking details and reference.

You will be charged the first night and is non-refundable when you book with us (online only). For email/phone bookings we require valid credit card details when making your reservation. We need to pre-authorise your card. This will guarantee your booking.

Customers can cancel their reservation at anytime, the first night is charged at the time of booking and it’s non-refundable.

Cancellations must be done 48hrs prior to arrival either by e-mail or telephone.

Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to arrival and No Shows can occur the full payment so please advise us if you won’t be able to use your booking.

Yes, free linen is included. Beds are made prior to arrival.

We rent towels at £2.00 per towel.

At the moment, we are not offering breakfast but this will be changing in few weeks’ times. Do look out for updates on that.

Yes, there is free Wi-Fi in the entire building. Printing and scanning facilities available in reception.

There is no curfew; you can enter and leave the hostel as you please.

We close at 12 midnight, but there is out of office hours number that you can call us on, which is 02086926219/ 07586967564. Both numbers will be picked up by a member of the team and we will take care of your needs and questions.

Yes. The hostel is above the new Royal Standard bar and restaurant, all the hostel guests receive a 15% discount of Food and drinks Menu!

All rooms are unisex, but upon demand we will try and arrange single sex dorms, subject to availability. Please call reception on +44 (0)20 86926219.

We encourage families to stay with us and take advantage of either our multi-bedded dorms or even our 3 bedded or 4 bedded rooms. We do not allow families with children aged 16yrs and under to share dorms with other guests, therefore all beds in a multi-bedded dorm must be booked and paid for in order to make these rooms private for families.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Book a Bed Hostels premises. A smoking area and ashtrays are provided outside the building during the opening hours.

We accept credit card, cash, in Sterling Pounds only. WE DO ACCEPT American Express.

No, we do not have weekly or monthly rates.

Our hostels are independent, and it’s not necessary to be a member of any organisation, and you don’t need to show any hostel card to use our services. You must be over 18 years to stay here or staying with someone over 18 years.

We DO NOT have bike storage.

Yes, we have coin operated washing and drying machines. Irons and ironing boards are supplied too.

We’re a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there’s a £250 fine per night for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
